There is a reason why one of the most popular stages in the Tour of California finishes in the central coast. San Luis Obispo (SLO) and the surrounding area is abundant with rolling hills, European style back roads, big climbs, nice people and a perfect climate. To top it all off the Pacific Ocean is just a few miles away. This is exactly why we are hosting our Cycling House California Camp here in San Luis Obispo. This camp will offer up a little bit of everything. Most rides will range from 50-75+ miles daily (See ride maps below). The area has a slew of epic road rides to experience so riding on the road will be the main focus of this camp. The trails around SLO are amazing so if there is an interest in riding mountain bikes and/or going on trail runs or hikes, we’ll definitely make that available.

Downtown SLO has a world famous farmers market every Thursday evening which our whole group will check out. We’ll be doing dinner in town that night. The staff includes: Brendan Halpin, Sam Schultz, Andy Schultz, Ty Brookhart and Owen Gue. Click here to view our Staff Bios.

The Cycling House Surf Day is awesome! This usually falls on a Thursday which is our shorter ride day or rest day. We’ll have 2 surf instructors at the beach and lots of surf boards. We follow our surf session up with “core on shore” then head up to the Honeymoon Cafe for a delicious brunch.
