THE ULTIMATE TRAINING EXPERIENCE

TESTIMONIALS

We're so lucky to be able to hang out with so many cool people each year at The Cycling House. Here's some notes that people have left us recently and we're honored to have such an amazing clientele.

I cannot say enough good things about the Cycling House. The accommodations are spectacular, the Food is amazing but above all the Staff is the best. These are passionate, knowledgeable experienced guys and gals that will do anything to make your experience even better. They do not skip corners and to the best of their ability try and be as flexible and accommodating as possible; creating the ultimate cycling experience. In me they have found a client for life, and a friend for life. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great biking experience.

Guillermo G. - St. Louis, MO

Great combination of being well organized but easy going atmosphere. Reasonable group size and well thought out optional rides kept everyone challenged. Well supported on and off the road. Very friendly accommodating staff always looking to make sure the experience was great start to finish.

Geoff H. - Chicago, IL

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I cannot imagine juggling all the special needs and requests of the guests and coordinating multiple shuttles to and from the airport and ride start/finish locations -- so much planning, but it all went off without a hitch!

"Owen and his Cycling House crew are amazing. The experience is extraordinarily fun and the training is high quality. I haven't laughed so hard and cycled so well in any week ever. The attention to detail to every aspect of our training week was impeccable. I have ridden with TCH in three camps over 6 years. They continue to grow and expand the services they provide and change their rides to improve their routes and overall rider experience."

Mary McCurdy, Bainbridge Island, WA

No other riding experience I have had in the past has increased my cycling ability more then riding with Owen, Brendan, Ben or Emily. Each day I learned new techniques, skills and found strengths and speed I did not know I had. Every ride started and ended with the perfect meal for fueling or recovery. The huge selection of Hammer Nutrition products while on the rode allowed me to experiment and fine tune my own nutrition needs. The staffs expertise, support and hospitality made me feel like a pampered pro rider (if such a thing exist) from the moment I arrived till the moment I left.

"What an Epic biking trip. Owen and the staff made everything easy, all i had to do was ride and enjoy. I am looking forward to next year."

Jay Morris

"Owen and his crew have created a unique and truly remarkable experience in the Cycling House. You can push yourself hard or just build some base miles on some of the best rides in the US alongside elite cyclists and triathletes. You'll come away with a tan, some new friends, strong legs, and sore abs from all the belly laughs."

Pat Murray

I am just back in the office after my four days with you in Tucson and I cannot stop raving to friends, family, colleagues, patients etc. about what an exceptional experience I had. I will heartily endorse you and The Cycling House to any and all who are interested in taking their athleticism to another level. I hope I have sufficiently expressed my gratitude and my recognition of your overall excellence in my first (but NOT last) training trip with The Cycling House!

"The people you have working for you are off the charts nice, the food was unbelievably good and the rides were unforgettable."

TCH Crew: you guys know how to do it right. I had moderate expectations coming into the week since I had never done anything like this before with multisport... but you guys absolutely blew away my expectations. From the meals, to the SAG support, and just a “can do” attitude about every facet within you business you guys have an awesome model that should bring you amazing success for years to come!

I think what differentiates the week from other experiences (for me) is the bond that we all make with people when you are forced into a situation which requires you to live together 24/7. Most of us train with a group of people but at the end of the training day, we all go home to our separate lives. At TCH, if even for just 1 week, it brings us back to a time when our lives where much more simple? Run/Eat.. Ride/Eat... Swim/Eat... Or something to that effect. Of course the training was awesome but I feel like I’m a better person just for simply getting to know all of you.

"I did a week-long running camp in Tucson in January this year. After a few months of fighting the cold and running in the snow, Tucson was simply heaven. It is the ideal place for training in the winter. The weather was crisp and cool in the mornings and evenings, but it was dry and warm during the day....perfect for running. The trails were fantastic with amazing views, the desert terrain was nicely challenging and I really enjoyed running around the giant cacti, very unique to the Sonoran Desert. Our group spent hours of fun everyday running in the parks. And the BEST thing about the camp? Staying at The Cycling House! We had very comfortable rooms and the house was spacious with lots of room for hanging out after a long day on the trails. AND the meals....oh my! Owen and crew, being amazing athletes themselves, really understood what we needed to give us lots of energy... hearty breakfasts and sandwiches for lunch (that we enjoyed out on the trails) and dinners that were a feast every night! I think we had to run harder just to burn off the second helpings we couldn't resist!
Tucson and The Cycling House = Perfect warm weather training in the winter!!! "

The Cycling House camps are definitely a highlight of my year.  Even though my entire career revolves around cycling and has for many years, the camps are a BLAST and amongst the most fun experiences I have had in the sport.  Can't wait for next years camp and making this an annual tradition.

Frank Brummer

"I was very happy with everything. It was perfect for the time of year and the riding and food was GREAT! Couldn’t ask for any better. I guess the experience was undersold for sure. I had no idea that Owen, Brendan, Andy, Sam and Jen would be providing such good service and ride support or that there would be that type of educational component."

Matthew Barrette

"The Cycling House has it nailed. I couldn’t have asked for anything more out of this experience. The house provides the ideal atmosphere to ride, improve your fitness and learn new training techniques."

Amanda Riley

"Very positive experience. So refreshing and encouraging to see and to spend quality time with young people as responsible and respectful as these young people are. They made my week of training very special, notwithstanding the beauty of Tucson and the wonderful riding."

Mark Dubrow

"I love the energy at The Cycling House and their passion for wellness and excellence. It truly was an inspiration."

Bob Albrighton

"Owen and his crew couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful. What an amazing bunch of unassuming athletes, always a smile on their face and there whenever you needed them. FANTASTIC!"

"TCH, I had an awesome week.  Thank you so much for your encouragement on the bike, making your house so comfortable and welcoming, surrounding yourself with great people, incredible food, amazing rides and solid support."

Kim Helgans

"Owen, Camp was AWESOME!  I had such a great time.  You put everything together really well; rides, food, and even hanging out. Your staff rocks!"

Jean Tudhope

"Thank you so much for the great week! I enjoyed it so much that I found myself having trouble getting to sleep at night since I was so stoked about the next days ride. I have never been so inspired by a group of twenty something year olds in my life. You 5 all have such a great combination of personality , athleticism, and drive that I'm sure your futures will be very bright."

Mike Baldigara

"My experience at The Cycling House definitely jump started my season. Most importantly, I made some friends for life. I miss you guys. Hope to see y’all again soon!"

Boomer

"The ride up and down Mt. Lemmon was probably one of the best rides I have ever been on.  I will remember that day for many years.  Also, thanks much for 'coaching' me up the Medera Canyon ride.  I would not have ridden that hard by myself.  That ride was special too.  I am a bit depressed tonight as I was back on the trainer this evening in the basement.  You can bet I will return next year.  How could I not!"

Steve Kipp

"I'm so glad I listened to my friends advice and signed up for a Cycling House camp.  I had a great time in so many ways.  Your crew exceeded my all my expectations of what the week would be like at The Cycling House.  The riding was fantastic.  You and all the other staff went way beyond what was expected to make the camp a very memorable experience.  The food was so special.  I also learned a number of new things like the Hammer Nutrition fueling system as well as Garmin and Powertap training techniques."

Bryan Fryer

"I had an awesome experience this year. My biking is coming around and I really appreciate spending time at TCH. You are awesome to work with and have a great, hard working team to compliment you. The food was terrific and the weather could not have been better! Thanks so much."
